what are y'alls opinions on child leashes .? just curious . i think some people need them who have multiple kids need them imo than the whole incident at the cincinati zoo where the gorilla got shot cause the toddler got into the exhibit coulda been avoided . idk i don't feel my son needs one but i feel some people whos kids are runners or can't have an eye or run up on their kids all the time do. I'm pregnant and couldn't chase my son worth crap if he ran but I usually always have someone with me when i go out to help.

Idk about child leashes. I'd rather just get a stroller for multiples. I think child leashes look ridiculous but that's just my opinion

My daughter had Down Syndrome. She is 6, she talks but her speech isn't developed enough to say where she lives. She is also a very sneaky, fast runner. She'll stop at nothing to run off. So YES, we use a harness. And if it can save a child's life?! DO IT. People can stare all they want, at the end of the day...she's safe.

My 19 month old is a runner and will not hold my hand. I also have 2 other kids & am 27 weeks pregnant. I use his safety harness a lot. I would rather have people judge me than have him run away into a crowd of people, or into a busy parking lot.

Like I said, she's 6. But, while she can still fit in her stroller...(she's a tiny 6yo)...she's too smart and can unbuckle her stroller and hop out. Same with her car seat and any other baby proofing gear. Her harness buckles in the back. So it's my only saving grace. And my 14yo who chases her down! Lol.

personally not a thing for my kids. but I do think safety harness is a safer word then a leash. a leash is for a dog not a child.

i wouldn't use one but some people know that their children need one and if it keeps them safe its ok with me

My son has ADD and Bipolar disorder and has been able to escape from a stroller since he was 2 we had season passes to 6 flags last year and for the first 4 times we went I did use it when walking through the park the rest of the year he actually would just hold my hand and I didn't have a problem but he is still a runner at almost 5 so for me it was needed. He liked his though because it was an owl and a backpack. I know my mom had one with me that went on my wrist when I was younger even not being a runner. It's truly a safety factor.
