question what would happen if I ask to do blood test to see what the gender of my baby is, is it 100% accuret and also how far along do you have to be ?
I had mine done at 12 weeks. im 19 and my insurance covered it. should have the results next week!
congrats @mrshamilton830 I'm hoping for a boy but anything will do any baby is a blessing from God in my eyes
I had one done at 10 weeks it said girl my ultrasound at 20 weeks also confirmed I'm having a girl
@arivera64, yeah when I asked my doctor to do it he said no, it's only offered to women who have a high risk pregnancy. So at another appointment, when he wasn't there, I asked the other doctor on duty to do it and she did. 😂 I had to be sneaky.
I had to do the cell free dna test (for abnormalities) because of my age and with that test the asked if I wanted to know the gender. I said yes. That was at 12 weeks. My insurance paid for it because of my age. I don't know if they would do it if you are under 35.
thanks guys I will ask my doctor June 8th when I see her if I can have it done :) @hermommy @ashsloan @arivera64
The earliest you can have it done is 9 weeks most doctors do it at 11 weeks, it is 99.9% accurate, far more accurate than ultrasound
yes, it's 99.9% accuratec you can ask now I took it at 10 had results by 11
Okay I was hoping they would thank goodness I'll ask my Dr when I see her next week. Oh I'm so excited and scared at the same time lol
