Venting... So my mom is on prescription pain killers and has been for over 13 years. I'm due to have my daughter in September and my mom wants to be the one who watches her. I do not trust her at all alone with my daughter. She has an awful sleep schedule on top of taking those pills she's always tired and I don't need her passing out. My husbands mom is an emotional wreck who can't be trusted for her own reasons... I have no one to help me if I decide to go back to work, and if I go back to work, I'll be going back to just pay for daycare.. Why is this so hard? I don't know what to do. Looks like I'll have to be broke and stay home and try to work something out..

A girl I know just posted THIS on FB... I’m honestly upset by the fact that she thinks being a mom is simple enough that anyone can go back to work after having a baby... I tried going back 6 weeks after and I had panic attacks daily at work, some causing me to pass out. I don’t trust ANYONE other than my mother to watch my daughter because of all of the stuff happening at daycares and with babysitters... (Not to mention she lost custody of her daughter at less than a year old because of drugs and didn’t work at all so how can she even... Idk) It takes a village to help raise a child, but the only village I have is my SO and my mother. 😪 I’m okay with being a stay at home mom until I’m fully able to work and go to school. Edit: Don’t tell me not to blast her name on here when her account is locked down and nobody can see this post but her friends on FB lol unless you’re crazy enough to go message her it shouldn’t be an issue 99% sure nobody on here knows her 😂

I hate my generation sometimes ? Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. This girl had no idea who Eric Clapton is. ? ♀ One of the most iconic songs, and she had no idea. I hate my generation. ?

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
