So I read somewhere that by 7 months (which my son is) babies should be understanding the word no, mine doesnt yet, anyone else? or thoughts on this?

Hahaha Macie understood "no" but laughed and did whatever I said no about anyway.

My son is 9 months old and just getting the hang of it. They all learn at their own pace.

@babymaciesmomma, @mommastone ok thanks! see I have no idea if he understands it. I tell him no to things like pulling my hair, I pull his hand away and all but he smiles at me and does it again, then seems to get mad when I keep pulling his hand away and saying no lol

Lucia is 10 months and shes starting to understand it here and there. Most of the time she'll just look at me, smile, and then keep doing it lol 😩

@mommytolucia, haha ok thanks! glad to know its normal for them not to understand it at 7 months, I thought that was a little early! although it would be nice cuz his hair pulling can give me a headache!

My son still doesnt really "understand " 100% hes 14 months. He started showing he knew around 9-10 months. Idk if he understands me saying NO or if he just notices the tone change. But he knows when he doesnt want something.
