The fact that girls post epidural horror stories and pads and sprays you use after is just scaring me even more -.-
Don't let them scare you! I had an epidural with my first. It was amazing. Now that I am older I want to try to go with out. Something empowering about natural labor.
Do not let them scare u, i was the same way tbh. But after my experience with it I would highly recommend the epidural.
@mamalex2016, haha I didn't see your post but I keep seeing others post it on fb I had no clue once I read the comments on it I'm like holly shit lmao
I have had 2 epidural and two completely different experiences! my first was horrid. the anesthesiologist was impatient with me and my sensitive back and after it was out it took forever for me to come out of it. my second experience was glorious. anesthesiologist explained everything he was doing and got me on one attempt and I came out of it quickly. the spray they post is just numbing for if you need stitches - it really is fantastic, if you need it (if you do, take it home with you!) and the squeeze bottle for warm water to help remove the blood is nice too! I never got those huge things that I have seen pictures of lately saying pads. I always got a wingless thick maxi type pad and mesh undies (undies are soooo amazing) 😊 hopefully that may ease your mind a bit. and I always quit using the hospital pads after I went home and just used regular, thinner pads you can pick up at the store - with the mesh panties they give you so I didn't ruin my own.
giving birth wasn't to bad the pain is forgettable. and After i was up walking around. but the spray and pads are the reason why i didn't feel a lot of discomfort
