how long after birth did you wait to put tampon on again?

6 weeks before you can put anything in your vagina to reduce the chance of infection

I was told to wait until pp bleeding was done which can last up to 10wks

I was told 6 weeks no tampons/anything inserted vaginally. I had a c section but they said same for both
