so I've been losing my mucus plug for a little while now and it usually is like a greenish but I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped it was clear and there was no smell to it. could my water have broken and I don't know it? I have not had any contractions at all

Well if you're concerned and at 40 weeks you might need to be making your way to L&D

well some people I know have had just a leak and not known about it or have had a high break where it just drips out. this is my second and my water never broke with my first
Trust me, you will know when your water breaks lol.
