is there any way to tell if your leaking amniotic fluid without going in to have the test done. I'm 38 weeks almost 39 and feel like I am. but right now I'm at home with my son and no way to get to the hospital to have the test done.

with my water i put a pad on and i waited an hour the pad was wet and when i touched it water actually dripped out of the pad. it could be!
just monitor it for about 30 mins to an hour and see how wet is the pad.
also my water occasionally had some white flecks in it and that is water.
It's is slimey and more mucousy I'd say it's likely pieces of your mucous plug, call L&D if your super worried that's what they're there for
I keep feeling it along with a ton of vaginal pressure.... I just don't want to stress about finding a ride or something to go get checked. I put a pad on to watch it. @emmajeremy2627
it will keep coming and feel really warm. it will happen every few seconds to every few minutes it feels different then discharge
it isn't slimey and I'm gonna start watching once I'm able to go home @emmajeremy2627 @stephilynn19
