Eek!! 36 weeks today no sign of baby yet...hoping she's born before my family leaves to Mexico on…

36 weeks is still too early 😁 37 is about the soonest that may be safe that baby won't need bili lights, or steroid shots for lung development

^ Not entirely true. My daughter was born at 36w and was able to come home with me 2 days after birth. Both my sons who were born at 38w had to be on the lights for at least 2w. I'm currently 36w 7d and already starting to dialate and know this lil guy will be early. I honestly don't think he'll have any problems either.

Speaking as someone who had a 36 weeker, as much as you want your family there you should be more focused on keeping baby in. You don't want your little one to go through possible feeding and breathing issues, jaundice, blood sugar drops, hourly heel pokes for blood and daily blood draws.

I feel you I'm 36weeks today also and I hope she comes out soon. I'm 4cm dilated and 50% effaced and already lost my mucus plug and so im so uncomfortable I wish she would just come out!!

well I appreciate it ladies for your concern, my first born was actually born at 35 weeks without any complications. And doc said is very possible for it to occur again and be very healthy @kingme07 @workingmom55

yes I know my first born was born between 35-36 weeks he was also able to come with me after the 2 days very healthy boy til this day :) @crazymommy04

I haven't lost anything just quite yet and don't know how effaced or dilated I am but I hope she's ready soon @mariemaverick :)

Well hopefully you have her soon. I'm so ready I have so much pain and always uncomfortable but no sign of labor😩
