Ladies, opinions please. My ex husband is in jail until Tuesday, he's been arrested multiple times, facing felony charges, and his house has been raided twice. We have 50/50 custody per our divorce agreement, but I want to file for full custody with visitation for him. Would that be wrong? He's going to be pissed but I'm scared for my girls' safety.

yes file for full custody u don't even know if he's gonna b out on Tuesday if u have an atty I'd also seek emergency custody. this way u don't have to worry about who is gonna have ur children while he's in jail. a judge will generally allow emergency custody if the other parent is jail and unable to care for the child
I would file for FULL custody with ONLY supervised visitation
Your child's safety comes first and coming from someone who's father is a felon I wish I would have only had visitation with my dad because my ex step mom's son ended up setting their apartment on fire when I was 4 when I happened to be over there one of the many times he had me. So for me that's a no brainer let him be mad he shouldn't have put himself in that type of situation.
the safety of your daughters should be your number 1 priority. he can get mad all he wants. if and when he gets his life straightened out then he will understand that you did the right thing. if you dont want to take them away from him completely you could always ask for supervised visitation rights. but until he gets his act together you definitely dont want to put your children in that kind of environment
no you girls need to be in a safe place he shouldn't be able to keep them until he gets his shit straight
