ask them if they can try to get a good shot of you laying on your side. I have an anterior and couldn't get very good pictures. luckily for me she was sideways in there so I laid on my side and got a decent one.

and drink lots of water for like 2 days before!! that'll make sure ur fluid is nice and clear and you will be able to see her even better!

Yeah we could see his little nose and eyes! just not much of a face shape cause of the placenta being in the way! And I had even drank my glucose drink before and he wasn't even moving lol but I'd try drinking some OJ or coffee or something 30 mins before for sure! I drank orange juice before my 23 week one and that's the best 3d one of him I've ever gotten 😊

@amber188, you could definitely see face features though right? I just wanna see what my little girl looks like

I personally am not going to pay for 3d pics from anywhere cause he's so hard to get a pic of because of my anterior placenta! lol but I know other moms who have been able to get great pics regardless ! it's a hit or miss

I just had another one done at 27 weeks (my doc does them at every appt.) and it was in the way again we could only see half of his face but I didn't take a pic of it yet! he's always snuggled in to my placenta.

I did not have an anterior placenta but we ended up going for 4 redo's because he would never cooperate, cord in face, hand in face, he'd face my back or side . We never got nice photos like how I had hoped , but the experience was definately worth it in the end even with nothing to show for it except a teddy bear with a recording of his heart beat lol.
