Definitely try your breastmilk. If you are using desitin, stop, it never did anything but prolong my daughters rash. I started using a mixture of breastmilk and coconut oil and it worked wonders. Also when I didn't have it on hand I used A&D ointment. She never got a rash again after that, I'd use it immediacy if she slept a long time and had on a wet diaper or anytime she was poopy.

cornstarch works so good I use that more then creams

I agree about the desitin not being very helpful. It seemed to only irritate the rash more :( butt paste is supposed to be pretty good at helping it clear up

My daughters pediatrician suggested Vaseline for that. So far it's worked well 👌

I agree to the cornstarch as well. I don't really do prescription creams because they are filled with steroids. I would just pump maybe an oz of breastmilk and mix it with a half cup of coconut oil or however much to get it to a creamy consistency.

lol yes cool not too cold. it eases the rash

I let a decently warm bath not too hot as usual and warm enough. And just dump some oatmeal in there. Or you can buy oatmeal bath packs at target and other stores. Target has a 5 pack for five dollars I think. My lo loves it!
