So i dont know what's going on and I'm so confused! Yesterday I started with some light bleeding it was light pink (was not a lot) then later on around 8pm I started bleeding a little more and so we decided to go to the hospital did a urine sample and when I went to pee there was dark blood on my underwear then we waited for a while then they did a check up said my cervix is closed and there was just a little bit of blood then they did and ultrasound and they saw the sac empty but no blood around the sac which was good and that is shows I'm 5weeks and 5 days pregnant but m LMP was 03/31 so I should be 8 weeks and 1 day pregnant. So then they decided to do a blood work and a hormone test, blood work showed I was pregnant and the hormone test game back high showing I was 8 weeks pregnant. Then the doctor said its a miscarriage but then later he said that it could be early to see the baby. Then I was released leaving with no answers and told to call my OBGYN to schedule an appointment cuz they want to monitor my pregnancy . I'm home now and the bleeding is super light and it's a brown color. So please help me understand what's going on!!! I'm complete list and worried!!!

I went to the ER for bleeding last week and my doctor basically made it seem like this pregnancy was already over but he couldn't "give me any definite answers" and told me to call my OB in the morning. The next day I called my OB and she looked over my test results and my ultrasound from the ER and said I was fine and just to take it easy. Sometimes ER doctors fail to tell you if it's REALLY that bad or if everything is most likely fine. Seems like they have a habit of putting the worse case scenario out there just in case.

it could be to early with this pregnancy I went to the ER they saw a empty sac went back two wks later saw baby's heart beat... with my first pregnancy I was supposed to be nine weeks was only measuring six weeks and I spotted a wk before miscarrying.... so hopefully it just to early good luck hun
It sounds like maybe either a threatened miscarriage or a missed miscarriage :( are they going to do another hcg test to see if it's raising?
Same thing happened to me with this pregnancy, I missed my period so I tested and it was positive. I started bleeding a lot, I freaked out because before missing my period and knowing I was pregnant I had drank. So I went to the ER, they did blood, urine and an ultrasound and the ultrasound showed an empty sack. They told me it could either be a misscarrage or too early to see a fetus. They sent me home with no answer and just told me to call my OB. I called and made an appointment for about two weeks later, They talked to be about early misscarriage and how to take it or whatever. So me and my husband were convinced it was a miscarriage, they then made an appointment for the next day for an ultrasound. Thank god we seen a baby, and I was almost 9 weeks, the ER got it wrong and told me I was more weeks than I was. So hopefully it's just that it is too early, I'm sorry you're going through that. Are you having pains on the right side?
sounds like your body isn't registering that it could be a miscarriage possibly? like your blood work shows 8weeks but your ultrasound showed a baby who possibly wasn't growing.. so maybe baby is just a slow grower ya know? I hope for the best for you ♡♡
