So far not at all! I did have some Braxton Hicks contractions the first day I started, but other than that, nothing negative ☺

@lkmama, I think I'm going to do both! any side effects from the primrose oil?

I take it 3 different times a day (typically with a small meal). Yes, it's completely safe to do the 1-2 pills on top of that 😊 With the tea she said I could have as much of that as I would like (it's caffeine free), but I usually drink it around 2 times a day.

@lkmama, yeah I had read about poking holes in it! do you take the 3 pills all at one time or 3 different times throughout the day? and you can insert 1 to 2 in your vagina on top of the 3 a day? I've heard about the tea also, is that just once a day?

I am one of those people who even try to avoid taking tylenol during pregnancy, so I wouldn't be taking it unless it was recommended by her ☺

I started taking it once I turned 37 weeks and at night my midwife recommended poking a hole in 1 or 2 pills and putting it as high as you can in your vagina. I don't always do that part, but it's supposed to help get your cervix ready (similar to having sex). She also recommend drinking red raspberry leaf tea to help get my body ready for labor.

@lkmama, what week did you start taking it? and are you just taking it orally? it makes me feel better knowing your midwife recommended it

I currently have been taking it 3x a day (my midwife recommend it), so I hope it really does help!
