Another question ladies: How do I go about receiving a free breast pump through my insurance? and if so... which one should I get?
I have medicaid and just got mine free in the mail yesterday. I was only approved for the Ameda for free unless I paid to upgrade. I'm sure every state is different though. I used the aeroflow website. Super easy!
@mommakaz, I've been worried about it too.. probably TMI but I have flat nipples so I ordered these things called supple cups off amazon they are supposed to help & I know pumps are expensive.. you should be fine being double covered..
@bree_55, awesome, thank you so much! I'll see what's up with them. I really want to breastfeed, ive been worried about affording a pump though.
@mommakaz, Last time I checked Medicaid was covering them.. I work with a nurse weekly on my pregnancy.. it's a program they offer to new moms who are on Medicaid.. it's covered here in Utah so it should be everywhere else right?? & yeah.. it would have to go through your primary insurance first & then it goes through your secondary but both of my insurances will pick up the breast pump.. I would call your insurances to be safe because every plan is different.. but I'd say it is..
I have united health care too @klove2016 oh okay so I should be approved through medicaid @bree_55
That's weird.. I have Select Med Plus as primary & my secondary is Medicaid & Medicaid is picking up my breast pump.. I just have to get a RX from my Doctor & take it in to Peterson's Medical & it's covered..
I have state Medicaid. But it's united health care and I'm approved
okay, thank you! I appreciate it!!! @littlemissrainesmommy
I have the spectra s2 because a good friend of mine said that while she loved her medela the spectra was 100 times better! and it is pretty freaking awesome! but yeah call your insurance or lookup edgepark and see if they work with your insurance
call your insurance and see if they do that, Medicaid won't anymore - and Medela is the best

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Things I never thought I'd say...
Until I became a mom:
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
@bree_55, oh wow I didn't even know those existed. that's good to know! thanks! @jacesterlingsmommy oh okay, I'll check into that for sure. thank you!!
