I didn't think the actual injection hurt but your arm does hurt afterwards for a day or so xxx

I've literally just got use to them taking blood, and that's only when they do it with a butterfly needle! xxx @kirsty1989

My pregnancy has forced me to get over a sever needle phobia... I still really hate needles and honestly it wasn't that bad! The nurse who did it was really good and it was over in a second :) the worst part was when she took the needle out and pushed where she'd just done it because it's instantly very tender. My arm hurt for about a week afterwards xx

I've had mine, the needle didn't hurt at all, slight sting when they inject the stuff in but by slight I mean ever so slight then your arm will just ache after xxx

you'll be fine hun, just remind yourself your doing it for your baby. it literally takes 2 seconds if that @lolliigee xxx

I think it's just the build up to it, I mean, I had steroids at 25 weeks due to going into labour, and those needles where huge and went into my leg! I managed them, but they hurt! I'm not looking forward to the ache, but I just want the needle bit over:( @briony1994 @firsttimemummy21 @kirsty1989 xx

I know what you mean with the build it but after you will be like ok is that it lol xxx

It's so quick you don't even realise what's happened, I had a small bruise for a few days but no pain xx

didn't hurt at all nor make my arm dead but I'm used to injections after having ivf be brave 😘 xxx

The needle does not hurt :) My arm didn't go numb at it :) When the fluid goes in..it may sting alittle..but not for long xxx My first one I didn't feel a thing. The second one I felt a little sting :)

I didn't find that it hurt anymore than a normal jabs. So worth it though because it protects your baby until they can get their own jabs

had mine Tues had a panic attack cos I'd heard such things about it and I have a bad needle phobia but she was good and was all over in seconds and didn't hurt not until today when it aches slightly lol

lol mine didn't.hurt until 2 days later and then it's not bad so I think it was the horror stories made it worse lol
