you could go with a brunch type thing if you do it earlier in the afternoon, or just simple finger foods like pinwheel sandwiches or meatballs, etc. totally whatever you feel, it's your shower!

We did bite sized stuff! Chicken salad on croissants, tomato mozzarella and basil skewers, spinach dip cups with veggies, mini blts. It was really good! At my other one we had lasagna, garlic bread, and Cesar salad.

It was a hit! You can also do a veggie version too if you have anyone who doesn't eat meat that's coming. We had a few vegetarians.

Veggie trays, a big salad, a fruit tray, bread rolls, get a few crock pots and make like 2-3 roasts in them (borrow from friends and family) and mayb like roasted chicken in the oven. You could have the roasts cooking overnight in the crockpots and have someone do the chicken in the morning. I would get the roasts at Cosco.
