now if you never put it down like ever then it becomes really attached so when you leave it it may cry the entire time happened to me when i baby sat a friends kid cause she would hold him anf feed him hold him while he slept every time even slept in bed with her every night. and still does and he crys when she leaves him and the whole time shes gone

No! The more secure they feel as babies the more independent they will be as children because they have a healthy, secure and safe foundation to grow from.

I say hold that baby as much as you can, there's a lot worse things than spoiling them with your love.
