I'm feeling super emotional right now, my little Oaks is in the NICU due to chorioamnionitis, an infection I got while I was in labor due to my water being broken for so long. he's getting antibiotics through an IV for it, but the infection is causing him some discomfort and he is having trouble eating 😞 I hate seeing my little one in pain, and since I'm in a huge amount of pain myself from the c section I can't be out of bed for too long without feeling extremely exhausted and sick. I'm not gonna lie, but I'm feeling like a bad mother for not being able to be there for him like I should be. I hope we won't be here for too long. 💔

Praying for the best. your little guy is a fighter. be proud and cheer him on along the way!!! take a picture of him every week to 2 weeks and document his progress it will keep you positive and busy and when hes out of the nicu and 8 months old crawling around and you look back at it it will be an awesome feeling.
