every brand has a different size chart. some of my son's 3 month clothes are way too big or just the right size. the 3-6 is just slightly bigger. just go with what fits the best at the time.

Actually 3 months is 0-3 months, 6 months is 3-6 months, 9 months is 6-9 months and 12 months is 9-12 months. Carters is a big one that uses just the one month on their clothing and on the tag it will show you the size vs weight.

heres a 3 month outfit I have that says just 3 months and it shows 8-12lbs on the tag which would be 0-3. I'd hope a 3-6 month old wouldn't be 8 pounds. lol.

But it depends on baby. they could still be in 3 months at 3 months. 3-6 definitely comes after 3 months though.
