Have you guys gotten the Tdap vaccine? Are you or are you not?

I'm not getting it.

I will be getting mine the next Appt. I have.

I did! Got my booster this year so baby could get some antibodies from me while still in the womb 😆

@mommagotbump16 @momof3and1ontheway is it worth getting it? I've heard some pretty negative and positive things on it I'm not sure if I should get it. how much did you pay for your vaccine or did your insurance cover it?

I'm against vaccinations, not for my baby, but for myself. I won't even get a flu shot. I have a really good immune system.

@mrod1301, when I had my doctors Appt. yesterday my doctor said I will get it at my next Appt. but at first I refused but he said there's been several cases of whooping cough in several states and just within the tri state there's been 2 babies that has passed from it so that changed my mind very quick. My insurance is covering it.

I think insurance covered mine too.

I got it at 31 weeks, insurance covered it. Doesn't hurt or anything & had no side effects, I'm actually glad my baby is going to be born with antibodies to whooping cough since he can't get the vaccine till he's several months old. Everyone is different tho so Good luck in your choice!

@mrod1301, I have United Health Care, it's through my husbands work place. What insurance do you have?

I got one at 28 weeks and they told me I had too
