Being induced at 38 weeks on June 1st anyone have any advice on what to bring or what to expect??

Thank you everyone and they are inducing me early because I have diabetes and High blood pressure. The baby is already around 7 and a half pounds so she is a normal weight but because of the diabetes and High blood pressure at my appointment today they decided to induce me next week! I think everything will go great and I can't wait to meet my baby girl Gabriella Rose :)

@mommyrai, they will for medical reasons, but otherwise they try to wait until at least 39 weeks to give baby more time to grow and develop.

awe they wouldnt induce me until 39 weeks due to legal reasoning. plus my doctor likes to see if ftm can have her body go on its own. congratulations. I've packed socks comfy clothes to come home in. underwear. shampoo and conditioner. toothbrush. deoderant. just basics and then stuff for baby. there is a checklist online you can look at

Depends on what they do to induce you I had potocin it just makes labor a lot faster I was in labor for 10 hrs and pushed for 2hrs wasn't bad just take the epidural

thats so exciting ! i was told by other moms you couldnt get induced early.. but obviously they were wrong! omg thats such a exciting thing 😊😊😊
