@michelle685, lol I couldn't resist, plus I know some of the people that will show up to my shower won't bring anything, like not even something as small as a 10 dollar gift card (which I know sucks, but I've already mentally prepared myself lol)
@michelle685, lol yup they come for the food and just to be nosey, I've literally had to go through my shower list a few times to take off a lot of those kinds of people but it's still inevitable that some will show up
@jc100495, absolutely just nosey as hell trying to see what people getting at they baby shower instead of bringing something if its not nothing but a case of diapers and wipes
@michelle685, exactly, and it's not even like it has to be the most expensive brands of stuff in the world they need to be walking through the door with, it's just the thought that counts and just common courtesy, but they'd rather show up empty handed as opposed to go get something as simple as that that you can get literally anywhere and even on the way to the shower, and my family's so petty they'd come just to see the theme and how stuff is set up and whatnot then pick on it behind my back or steal ideas from it for their next party like they always do when I invite them to something
