went to a army recruiter today. Although I won't be able to officially sign up until baby is 6 months old (3months from now) I feel like it's something I really want to do. my husband was in the army and had gotten out 2 years ago. now at 25 working a dead job in retail I want to make something of myself. Yes it be really hard to leave my baby who isn't even a year old yet but I want a better life for myself and our family.

thank you.@maceysmommy, one of my husbands friend is saying I'm making a bad decision based o the fact that I just had a baby and we currently have 2 mortgages (we rent out one home) and if we get stationed other then WA . my husband will be a stay at home daddy. so I'm really wanting to do it cause it's what I want to do. I would've done it sooner when I was 19 but I met my husband then and he was in the military so I didn't do it.
