I used formula for a night because she couldnt latch and my boobs were so happy for it lol but now she can nurse great from the right side but the left isn't happening. my areola is so swollen that my nipple plays a disappearing act. :( I'm not gonna give up but its definitely a bit painful and frustrating cause idk what to do to help

Hang in there. I'm in the same boat. It's okay to take a break and switch to formula then come back when you feel ready. Nothing wrong with that. Baby is not starving. That's what I had to do when it got to be too much on my breasts during her cluster feeding. She constantly wanted to feed that I was afraid she wasn't getting anything but she was. She's doing well before, during, and after. You got this ❤️
