Carson is almost 4 months old and is waking up every 2 to 3 hours at night to eat. (His diaper is also super full) should I try feeding him 6 ounces instead of 5? And putting a bigger size diaper on? I'm desperate I'm so tired I can barely function. PS he used to sleep 6 to 7 hours at a time.

growth spurt mama, it will pass and he will go back to sleeping his normal time... my daughter did the same thing, you could up the amount he's eating, but he may still wake due to the growth spurt

@sarahdrew, it just really caught me off guard the last few days! Im going to try 6 ounces tonight and see if it helps.

good luck mama, it will happen now and again at around 6 months... I'm not 100% sure after that.... my daughter is almost 8 months and she hasn't really seemed to be going thru one.... it does catch you off guard when they have been sleeping so well and then bam they start waking up again

Could be the start of the dreaded 4 month sleep regression. At one point my son was waking up every 45 min, no joke... For 5 days or so. It was worse than having a newborn!
