at 8 weeks you are 2 months, so you wouldnt be 3 months until you are 12 weeks. Same with your baby once its born. If the baby is born Jan 1st, you arent going to consider the baby 6 months until 6 months have passed. But like my sister @cubanese said.....i just go by weeks because the "months of pregnancy" are just wacked out

No problem :) I used to get it confused in my first pregnancy allllll the time lol. I still do now that I'm getting further but you'll get the hang of it :)

she's just trying to be complicated, that's all. yes you will be IN your third month, but you also will BE three months. she's dumb because you don't say you're three months after you've completed it and in your fourth month. You're three months.

She just means that you will start your 3rd month at 9 weeks but you would be considered 2 months and a week. The last week for your 3rd month is your 13th week. So at 14 weeks, you'd be considered 3 full months.
