My son has a dentist appointment at 10 with a new dentist and he's terrified. His old dentist would make me hold him down and she would yell at him because he was scared from me having to pin him down so he wouldn't corporate. We moved and I found a pediatric dentist to try. Idk what to do to ease his mind that this dr isn't mean. 😔

Just going to be one of those "wait and see" experiences. Tell him you'll be right there and won't let anything bad happen to him. If anything like what happened at the last dentist happens, walk put immediately.

Awl! Poor kid. I feel for him. I had a traumatic experience once at the dentist when I was like 20 and I'm not 37 and deathly afraid of going. I have to be put to sleep to get anything done. Keep reminding him that it's someone new and he will never have to go back to the mean dentist. Maybe plan something fun afterwards so he has something to look forward to. Good luck!! @ciaramarie

Google reviews on the pediatric dentist! I worked for one before I moved and I loved it, & the kids loved it! You made the right choice by choosing a strictly pediatric office this time!😁

@babes87101116, @yendor678 @kdollarhide he did absolutely amazing! No crying, screaming. The nurse was very nice and explained what she was doing to him. I'm very pleased with this new dentist. However would not recommend his previous one to anyone!
