is it cramps or braxton hicks im supposed to be counting? or both? whats the difference?

It could be the start of labor abd your midwife is shoving it off because you're still closed I can't really say one thing or the other because we all know I'm no pro but if you're having pain and she isn't doing anything to help you i would go to a hospital

@mimiz, this is my first baby I am so confused ...

yea I started having them monday. & theyve gotten worse since. Monday I had really bad Diarrhea & cramping & then wiped a light pick piece of mucus plug. so I told my midwife she told me that the cramping is from the Diarrhea & that I do have blood in my discharge but my cervix is still closed (I havent had sex in a while). so I went home started taking Imodium that was supposed to stop the diarrhea & cramps... well diarrhea went & the cramping stayed. ive had bad back pain on & off . tylenol doesnt help . so Idk whats going on .

oh okay . i never had either so I was wondering. my other app asked if I was having cramps & then asked if I was having BH. & how many . I was so lost . @mimiz

Lol ohhh ok well bh is mostly pressure like your feel tight in your belly cramps are more like pain and intense I mean everyone experiences it differently

You only time contractions if you have pain for more than an hour close together that's contraction of it doesn't happen often and it's mostly just pressure those are bh
