Seriously.. I've worked my butt off for everything I have for myself and managed to still provide for friends/family. For over ten years! All on my own. Now that I'm pregnant, at 20 weeks I took a leave at work. I'm just too sick to push myself through the day. And now everyone puts me down for my fiance working and providing for us. Wtf right.

@mommakaz, same happened to me. It's absolutely ridiculous. And when I was single all my "friends" talked about finding someone who would be financially responsible for them and their family. Now all of a sudden it's this huge thing. It's like... I have a 4 month old that needs me. And he will need me all his life, but specially NOW that he's small before he heads off to school. I think that there is more to life than just a 9-5 job or any job where you are working for everything else but yourself. If I got a job right now I would be paying basically all the money I earn to childcare... I would never see my son... I would be working miserably somewhere because my heart belongs with him... What's the point?

I'm the primary financial provider in our home (my husband makes some from disability and BAH while in school). Trust me, everyone and their mother applauds him for having a sugar momma.

@mombie2be, exactly. that's my point too. why be miserable working somewhere I hate where 90% of my income goes to childcare, where I'm not even sure if he's safe or not.
