i believe they make benadryl cream i know that the pills can dry you up but i would think the cream for the skin would be fine

right well I was reading that hydrocortisone shots for like tendinitis (which I didn't even know they did and I've had it in my ankles for years) will dry you up and then for topical it said no studies have been done but it's suggested to only use it in the smallest amount and area of the skin possible and my hives are one the smaller side and cover most of my forearm so I don't think that will work @mom13

best i could say then is to speak to your doctor and a pharmacist when my doctor prescribed me a scipt she wasnt sure was okay she asked the pharmacist to look it up for her it was a one day pill for a yeast infection it was found to be okay

yeah i have plenty of allergies my body is so use to benadryl that when they tried to recommend it as a sleep aide i laughed at them this was before i was pregnant so they put me on the next thing for it but i was allergic to that so i had to have the next step up from that

topical is the best solution. just wash your hands after application as not to get it on baby.
