I think the pain probably does make them tired! plus the little fever that comes with it, our body heals when it rests I wouldn't be worried :)

I dont think it makes them sleepy, my son would wake up crying, and just was fussy all the time. Although whenever he would go through a growth spurt, he would sleep alot
