First time mom:
Is there a point of a birthing plan? I have one but I feel like once I get things going I am going to trust what my doctor would say over what my plan is because they would know more then me. I am open to everything and just as long as she comes out safely as possible I feel like I may not need one. Am I being naïve about the whole thing? Thank you in advance!
What is it like to have a c-section? I was told by my doctor I would likely have one so I am kinda nervous.😯😯
Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Strippers. How do you all feel about your SO/hubby going to the strip club? I honestly have jealousy issues and I dont approve of it for my SO, as he already doesn't like too go. But i feel like if he wants to see women stripping on poles, I can be his own personal stripper. Lol ? I am just curious to see what others feel and think!
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

It's good to have one just to have an outline of how you would like things to go, but definitely be prepared for it to go differently!

people make a birthplan..... and they act like it is written in stone because they get into a fit it it doesn't go according to the plan.... there are more than a million ways that can happen once you go into labor up until the birth of your baby to breastfeeding an all that.... so u can make one if u want but use it as a guideline.... not as something that will definitely happen.... good thing u have an open mind ;)

no not at all, I did one for my first and it kinda went out the window. Because I'm no doctor and they know what's best lol. But I did have specific request. For example how many visitors I wanted my privacy when I was breast feeding. My hospital has an eye for small details like if you want music while you're in labor , if you want extra pillows. all that extra stuff. Signing up for a meal plan for the dad little things like that.

i never has a birth plan with my other 3 pregnancies. i saw my midwife today and she told me to start making one so it's all new to me as far as birth plans go. I'm just going to go in and do what I need to do to have a healthy baby

I'm having my third and I never made a birthing plan unfortunately birthing isn't really something you can plan there's a billion and one things that can happen you can have labor and push a baby out in as quick as a few hours as into as long as days you could possible need a emergency c-section or who knows I would focus more on getting s good breathing technique to help you through the pain at least up until you decided to get the epidural if you decided to if your not to far along that you can't even get one

I'm making one because I'm doing all natural and I want the baby given to me right when comes out, I also don't want to be asked about the epidural and no pain meds. Also, I'm wearing my own clothing and absolutely want nothing to do with formula for my baby. It's not just for birth, it's for after. I know that things may not go the way I want but I want guidelines in case it does.

I think its good to have an idea of what you do and don't want. however unexpected things come up so you have to be flexible when it comes to the health and safety of you and baby. I had a birth plan and about 80 percent of it went out the window.

didn't have one the only thing I said to the nurses were don't bring up any type of pain management because I don't want it. either that we went with the flow on how everything else turned out. Same idea will happen with this baby.
