Jayce did so great at his first appointment! Only have one queston...The hospital told me not to apply anything to his cord and his doctor said clean it with alcohol and a q tip at every changing.... which is best? to leave it be or to clean it?

With all my nieces and nephew we use alcohol on cotton balls or Qtips

alcohol helped with my son's I cleaned it in the morning and then at night to keep from getting infected and it fell off faster.

cleaning it with alcohol actually helps dry it out and keep it from getting infected

i think alcohol will keep it clean just dont drench it in it. use a q tip.
