Depends on your doctor and what they would allow. You can talk it over with them, and do research and take it to them to support the reasons why you should be able to eat unless having a c-section....
after my epidural I could only have ice. but when my water was broken and nothing was really happening for me I got vegetable broth, jello, coffee, apple juice, some ensure stuff, and Luigis ice
Stop and get food before you go to the hospital lol, I learned the hard way
Just ice chips but during labor I didn't want anything solid anyways
right once I got admitted I could not eat. I wasn't hungry the ice kep me full
I'm taking the Bradley Method classes and there is research that specifically talks about eating small amounts to keep your strength up during labor!
