Even though I've used a nipple shield, will it hurt when I go natural?

Not if the baby latch correctly

@mookie1, she latched and it didn't like hurt just like a pit of a pinch but then she latched deeper and it was fine lol I'm proud

Yes i can just imagine 🙂🙂 I was so hype when my daughter started latching again without the shield!!

@mookie1, it feels so good. But she still gets so frustrated so I try to slowly work it in there lol have you got her to fully go without it?

Yeah my daughter used to too. And I honestly just kept trying, some days I would start pumping first because then she seemed to be more willing to latch. Some days she would start nursing then stop so I can put the shield on. But just keep trying

Depends on why you're using a nipple shield. I used one with my first for 2.5 years

@mookie1, I definitely want too. I don't want too give up. But I'm glad she is catching on ❤️

@allaboutbabysworld, I didn't know if it was good to use that long or not. I only plan on breastfeeding till she is year

If it works for you then you can use it as long as you need
