My baby got her four month shots today and we just gave her some Tylenol about a half hour ago because we noticed she was getting kinda warm well now her fever is up to 100.1 and don't seem to be going down when should I go to the hospital? help please!
a fever for a baby is 100.4 if it gets there I would take her.. turn the shower on and get in with her it broke my sons fever quick..
we just gave her a bath and now having a bottle sitting in front of a fan so hopefully it goes down.
Just did our same shots yesterday and she got up to 101.3 but keep cloths off her and a cool wash cloth on her forehead or neck to help with comfort. Tylenol and just keep an eye on how high the fever gets. will be grumpy the next day.
An actual fever for a baby is 100.4 and over. As long as it isn't 103 or higher she's fine. Just alternate Tylenol and Motrin. It should be better by tomorrow or the day after!
@mommareatherford, I'm very educated on vaccines and the pharma industry. not saying all, but a lot of doctors are in it for the money and not the best interest for the patient. if you feel something is wrong, take her in. if you have any questions or want advice, please feel free to message me. I will not argue with anyone about this.
That's not a very high temperature for a baby, it's just a fever from the shots most babies get a fever
No. fevers are normal after shots. just keep giving Tylenol, cool clothes, and you can try a damp cool washcloth.
Try skin to skin contact I've read you can cool your baby down as the same you can warm them up.
