So my husband and I are planning on keeping our baby's gender a secret till birth, only telling my parents! This is our last baby and thought it might be fun to do it differently this time! Has anybody else done this? How did it go as far as reviling baby's gender at birth?

@kim3737, well the midwife says she can come this week the way it looked last week but we will see. it's to the point we have told people not to even come to the hospital until we call saying we want visitors. I thought it was going to be less irritating keeping it a secret. I was wrong.

You should definitely do it! If they really want to know the will be there when you have her or come visit! This is our third and we don't need anything gender specific since we have both! I think it would be fun to wait till birth! Let me know how it goes for you!! Good luck!

my husband and I are doing this. but we have only told 1 couple who doesn't know our families. we thought it would be fun too but people are really irritating. they keep asking. they have kept asking the entire pregnancey. my grandmother goes as far to call me a liar everytime she asks and I say "we don't want to know" (which is what we tell people but we do know it's a girl ) and she drills me constantly. other people don't even act interested once they figure out we aren't telling. no one really seems to care about this baby the way they did the 1st. as far as revealing the gender we don't know yet since this kid hasn't come out yet unfortunately.
