I was induced, best labor ever! I literally sat around all day watching tv until it was time to push lol.. You can pack whenever. Just make sure to bring Chapstick! You can't eat or drink anything once your check in until after you deliver so stuff your face right before you leave but because you get dehydrated your lips get chapped.

Yeah. When you check in they will put you in a hospital gown so you might want to bring a robe or another set of pjs die after baby is born. But honestly you don't bed anything for yourself (aside from a toothbrush etc.) or your baby. I checked in at like 11 at night they gave me a pill I went to sleep they woke me up a couple of times to check my progress then at 10am i got an epidural watched tv all day and starting pushing around 6pm and that was about it

Not at all! Ask away! Yea I just took a pill, that was it. They had me hooked up to an IV and stuff but it started with just a tiny pill... Smaller than a Tylenol! There is a chance you may need something called a balloon which is when they insert this thing inside you and blow it up to help stretch you out, but that's only if the meds don't work. I walked into the hospital 0CM and the pill worked for me, in 2 hours I dilated 3cm

u might not get a pill.. I got just pitocin thru my IV. and i have never heard or been given a pill to induce me. bring something that keeps you claim

both times and my first labor was only 5 hrs, second was 2 1/2 hours
