I plan on asking my doctor to strip my membranes tomorrow. I'll be 39 weeks. can they refuse?

I was 39 weeks. He said no because I had a week left. Then they ended up inducing me.

@harranmommy, how far we're you when you Asked? what was her reasoning for saying no?

Ask, what's the harm in asking. My dr wouldn't do it.

I'm praying to get mine done tomorrow as well. I just hope I'm dilated for her to do it, last appointment I was still closed but almost completely effaced.
