I plan on asking my doctor to strip my membranes tomorrow. I'll be 39 weeks. can they refuse?

the doctor can always refuse if he/she doesn't find it necessary, but you're going to be 39 weeks so he/she may go ahead and do it

I'm praying to get mine done tomorrow as well. I just hope I'm dilated for her to do it, last appointment I was still closed but almost completely effaced.
