is everyone washing the new baby clothes? with my son they just went on as bought? not washed first?

I wasn't going to wash them but we got quite a bit of second hand stuff so I've started washing it all now plus it smells nice and fresh lol, I use fairy non bio xxx

I did yes :) the ones that weren't in packets :) As I felt they weren't clean because people touch clothes when they are on the hangers :) :) Anything that was in a packet that looked like it hadn't been handled I was fine with :) xx

only things I am washing are cloths that are second hand and cloths that are just on hangers anything else like baby grows or packaged cloths I'm not washing

I only washed second hand stuff. didnt have time to wash loads of clothes if im honest and my little boy was fine wearing them..also if your baby doesn't wear everything like I had so much left with tags on they're so much easier to sell because they're brand new still xx

Yes as they have starch And chemicals them which can upset babies delicate skin

I never washed my sons and won't be washing this little ladies either I love the feeling of brand new unwashed clothes ☺️☺️

I washed all my baby's clothes only because I didn't know who has touched them in the shop and liked to get rid of the germs zxx

ive washed all mine but my hubby has very sensitive skin and we wash all his new clothes b4 he wears them so i thought it sensible with baby in case he/she is like daddy x

I'm washing all baby's stuff bit by bit, ironing some will be the worse part 🙈 I'm not confident that things bought are clean so it makes me comfortable knowing I have washed them plus the smell afterwards is gorgeous x
