Anyone switched insurance companies during a pregnancy?
I may be switching from a NY insurance to NJ Medicaid. I know I'll have to, but I don't wanna go through looking for a new doctor and pediatrician 😔

I have NJ Medicaid and switched HMOs today. Whatever you do don't pick Horizon NJ Health. My OB made me switch because every time I needed an ultrasound or test I'd have to wait a week for the insurance to approve it and send a referral

yea.. I had to do tha at 20 weeks. it was so annoying. but just make sure your old doctor sends whomever you pick all of your records a week before your appointment and call the new office to confirm they recieved it.

@elainaelise, I had to have it done again because the report they sent the new doctor was missing measurements and information. if u think they will be able to do it completely, then I say do it, if ur hesitant, ask the new doctors office first. they might want to see for themselves
