I need opinions!!! I am almost 5 weeks pregnant. I am super happy, but I don't think my family (especially my Mom and sister) is going to be. The thing is the father is my ex-boyfriend. We are technically not together, but have had sex a handful of times since we broke up over a year ago. My question is how should I tell my Mom and sister? I was going to wait until my first ultrasound (June 30th & about 10 weeks along) and figure it out then, but there are family activities (like Cedar Point) that I won't be able to attend that I'm going to have to tell them then or make up something!!! I don't know what to do!?

I think after the first ultrasound would be better. At least you'll know more and be able to more so show or announce the way you want

It's totally whatever makes you comfortable. Just be open about it. They may be mad but that is their problem.

thanks @brenking I just have to tell them when I am comfortable and if they are mad or upset it's their problem. Me and my baby will be just fine. ☺

I'm 10 weeks along and we still haven't told anyone about our baby. We r trying to wait to make sure I'm not gonna miscarry not to mention we r trying to get his divorce done. They've been split up for yrs but his ex wife is something else and is trying to use everything she can against us on getting custody of his kids. Tell them when u r most comfortable u won't be able to hide it forever but wait till u r ready
