My c section suture tape has not came off and been a week already..do I take them off myself?or wait longer ??

I don't have a 2 week check up doctor isn't until June and it's just the tape that goes across the stitches...??

I was told to leave mine on that if they fall off its okay but my doctor took them off for me at my 2 week check up
