So two of my aunts think I spoil my son just because I don't let him cry until he turns red and has tears down his cheeks. I certainly don't believe in letting him cry but at the end he's my son and I wouldn't do that ever.

Don't listen to them. People tell me I spoil her too but my daughter will have panic attacks and turns red and hyperventilates and then she will actually stop breathing. Why put your baby in that much stress just so you don't "spoil" them?! I hate when people say let them cry it out. They're babies. If they're crying there's a reason for it. They aren't manipulating you

@mamesey, I totally agree I just hate that they always bring it up saying that he's spoiled and I let him rule the house by not letting him sit and cry his little heart out.

You really can't even spoil a baby- they only have needs, not wants yet. They are without guile and not manipulative.
