Anybody get pregnant during nursing school? Mines was so unexpected. I need words of encouragement.. Because it's already hard now, I'm praying I'll be able to handle it close to due date, and after. and trying to keep a positive mind. I have that kind of family that's negative & say things like "you better finish school first before getting pregnant or we will be very disappointed" or "don't get pregnant while in school. You'll disappoint us." "I know you don't want any kids right now right" they still don't know. my due Date is December 4 if i don't deliver early, right before Finals week 12/12-12/16 & right before Christmas break which is about 2 1/2 weeks. So I will have time to adjust during that time.. Now some teachers will let you take exams early . But idk how my professors would respond.. This is really just a vent because I have no one to vent too about this. No one really understands. Especially my SO. He always saying don't worry about that we will get through it, or forget what your family thinks. It's easier said when it's not you dealing with it. 😒😢

You can't please everyone in life even family so they just have to get over it. Unexpected things happen no matter how careful you are. All will work out and I know it will it just going to be hard that's all. Don't give up and don't stress :)

I think once you tell them, yes they will be disappointed but they will get over it:) you just have to think about you and your unborn baby! Don't let them stress you out! You just study hard and bring 110% into school and show everyone it's possible:) things happen when we don't expect them too but everything works out in the end!

Thanks you and true. That's why I haven't told my family yet because I know that will bring on unnecessary stress and I don't want it to harm the baby @deafmama16. And Thanks for encouraging words.

Maybe your right. They eventually came around for my older sister she got pregnant @ 18.. But I'll just take it day by day and yes I plan to strive hard and work my butt of in school. I've came to far. @mommybump2016 I dont know when I'll tell them though. Thanks for the encouragement.

I know its hard but they not to worry to much at the end of the day their your family and I'm sure it will be hard on them but they will accept the fact your pregnant , but also strong enough to still finish school and I'm sure if you privately speak to each individual teacher an show them proof of your due date and ask could you take exams a little earlier I'm sure they would let you... I wish you the best of luck though hun , I'm rooting for you.

Yea, I've came to accepting it… I'm just gone do everything a week early prior to my due date for my classes. @kedrababy how much longer u have in school.

@kedrababy, this would be my last year. Im hoping I give birth over xmas break so I do the spring semester too
