My MIL has been really helpful since I had my son he is now 4months old but I just hate that she is always telling me to give my son food like soup, eggs and other things .. My son isn't ready for that !! Just cause she did that with her kids doesn't mean in gonna do it with my son!

Juice is actually okay! and aww ice cream? i would have been mad especially if he ended up with a tummy ache. i dont blame you tho sounds like she thinks its ok to do whatever she wants. I mean I get that shes the grandmother but she should still ask for your permission hes still so little. and definitely you should be the one starting him off in regular food! smh. @rickysmommy

I told her no I'm just scared that when I leave him with her she would give him something .. Last time I only stepped out for about a minute when I came back he was acting different later that night I found out they have him ice scream and he was only 3 months old .. I sometimes give him a little taste of juice or other things like a little drop but I put it in his pacifier but if someone's is gonna be giving him something it should be me at least I'll know if he gets sick I know what it was cause if she gives him something she won't tell me I have to find out myself @kbrown91

thats crazy! it'll make him want his formula less. I didn't give my kids table foods til they were around 7 months. but i tried to keep it mostly baby food. eggs could hurt your babys little tummy this early. 😐 just do you! you know whats best for your baby!!

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
I don't think she gets it. I swear sometimes I just need to renew my policy to not look at the comments in Facebook. I never used to. I don't know why I started. But the ignorance is real.
Will your Mom be in the delivery room? My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.

I made the mistake of giving my daughter a tiny lick of ice cream at 3 months. She had a bad tummy ache. I felt so bad! Now she's 1 and loves ice cream lol
