My last doctors appointment my midwife suggested things to kick start labor do you think she would be willing to do a sweep I'll be over 40 weeks

My midwife did a sweep and stretch and OMG I wasn't expecting the stretch 😩 but I lost my mucus plug the next day!
I'm gonna try and get it done at my appt this week

mine worked for my first. i was 3cm/80% effaced , 40w3d, he swept my membranes at 3pm, and at 1130pm I went into labor, was 4cm and 100% effaced when i got to hospital ,had her 15 hours later.

No 😕. I actually had to get induced 2wks later because I was showing signs of preeclampsia .... It's never worked on me actually, it doesn't hurt its just uncomfortable that's why I tired it with each pregnancy.
Yes, never hurts to ask. My doctor did mine at 37wks. It just all depends on the Doctor/midwife
Locking your doors
We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
