So tomorrow morning i have to have the diabetes test and i have been given the lemon lime flavored sugar stuff i have to drink. At first i just wanted to chug it quick to get it over with and be done with that part but people have told me not to do that cause ill throw up. I dont really wanna drink it slow, i want it over with. Im terified for this doctors appt and im over thinking everything. Help please!! What should i do??

Drink with a straw ... I had the orange and it wasn't to bad , but the straw made it easy and no problem drinking it ... Only eat proteins , and bring some crackers for after the blood draw .. Good luck

The doctor actually wants you to drink it as quickly as possible. In my experience it wasn't that it was gross it's just like drinking an overly sweet soda or juice. It's easier to drink cold. Good luck.

I did the hour long one, and I pretty much chugged my drink... I threw up exactly at the hour mark.. Felt fine the whole time up until then...

I drank mine in literally 8 secs, the tech timed me. I felt fine the whole time and never liked from it, which is crazy because I have HG
